Jewels, Cauldrons, and A Little Magic
Summary:
Princess Amora is preparing for her coronation. She must be poise, courageous, confident, passionate, and stand up for her actions, but there is one catch. She carries none of those traits described. Shielded from the world of politics all her life, Amora must learn to overcome the challenges before her coronation if she wants to prove to the people of her loyalty to the kingdom. Her lack of confidence and letting her mother run things doesn’t bode well for her future, but she suddenly finds a journal left to her by her dead cousin detailing the whereabouts of the Purple Diamond. Legends say that when someone obtains the jewel, they will become an unstoppable force. However, should she trust her cousin, the one who was accused of embezzling money out of her father’s business?
Desperate to show her worth, Amora follows the clues in the journal that will ultimately lead her to the Purple Diamond, and perhaps also to the evidence of her cousin’s innocence.
A single lit candle sat on top of a wooden desk, it's light shining onto an elegant thick leather book. Nothing stirred, all was quiet. The most prominent feature of the book was the circular gem situated in the center of the cover, its reflection shining brilliantly in purple colors. There were no letterings to hint what it may hold inside, but as two hands opened the book, the pages too were void of words. But this stranger, cloaked in the shadows, began chanting a spell.
"Tell me a Tale, filled with Magic and Mystery;
With Power and Enchantment;
A Legendary story promised to cast;
A Spell to last."
As the words flowed through the stranger's lips, letters began appearing as if being written by an invisible hand. In no time, the words formed to create a story.
